PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN

The Patient Care Technician training program is a 10-week online course that aims to prepare students to work as nursing support staff. Upon completion, students will receive double certification, which surpasses that of a nursing assistant. The program includes training for Phlebotomy, EKG, and Nursing Assistant tests, resulting in four certificates.

Please note that there are additional costs for the program, which are not included in the tuition fee. These include expenses for textbooks and workbooks, a COVID test, a student badge, a general supply fee, study guides and practice tests, exam fees, and a graduation pin. CPR certification is included in the program. Optional exams for CNA and PBT certification are also available at an additional cost of $125 and $135, respectively.
